Initially, the installation appeared starkly white and underwhelming. However, this was intentional, as the true spectacle was designed to unfold at night.
Created to commemorate Tory Burch‘s 10th anniversary in Indonesia, the installation featured a 6-meter tall T Monogram sculpture at Plaza Senayan. Projection mapping transformed the sculpture, casting ethereal white clouds against a virtual blue sky, creating a mesmerizing and dreamlike atmosphere.
To capture the full impact of the installation, the photography and videography had to be conducted late at night after the crowds dispersed. This documentation was crucial for reporting back to the U.S. headquarters.
The installation itself was a remarkable feat of engineering, meticulously crafted by PT. Magna Gemilang Pratama (Magenta) using resin. The construction process spanned three weeks, and the sheer size of the sculpture necessitated the use of rigging for installation.
Thank you, Tory Burch Indonesia for the opportunity!
